Andrene Brown is a Founder and Executive Director of Fine Feather Foundation Inc. Before launching FFF, she partnered with Stacey Newman to launch Fine Feather Kids LLC, which is a children’s clothing company for a cause.  It is through Fine Feather Kids that Brown was able to begin the purposeful mission of transforming the lives of at-risk children with proceeds from the children’s clothing venture.

Before launching Fine Feather Foundation, Brown juggled quite a few roles. She is an entrepreneur, singer, songwriter, radio host, editor in chief of Caribbean Elite Magazine and her most important role of them all, mother. Though she has many accolades, it is her philanthropic work with Fine Feather Foundation that she describes as the defining role of her life. Brown, along with many partners, have done amazing work on behalf of at-risk children in a short period of time.  She is on the frontlines of every initiative such as back to school drives, clothing donations, educational tools donations, educational program sponsorship and so much more. 

Brown sees Fine Feather Foundation as an Angel company as the mission is to “Cover the Angels that cover us!”  Empowered by her own experience of child abuse, Brown has decided to make prevention and early intervention a priority while addressing and supporting the physical, mental and emotional needs of children.

Stacey Newman is Chairwoman of Fine Feather Kids, LLC, a children’s clothing company with purpose. Fine Feather Kids was built in 2020 on the foundation and belief that children are small angels who deserve to have luxury fashion at affordable prices. The company’s goal to provide resources, programs, and donations for at-risk youth, birthed Fine Feather Foundation, Inc. As Cofounder, Newman believes in being part of “the village.”

In her role on the Board of Directors she will be a leader in steering the foundation’s mission to protect, nurture, educate, open doors, and provide opportunities for at-risk children. Her focus and determination will shape best practices and ensure proper management so every child, no matter their circumstances or environment, will have limitless pathways to education, success, and destiny.

Newman is a veteran TV news and documentary producer, writer, and reporter. Her broadcasting career has spanned CNBC, Court TV, CNN, HLN, and Firelight Films.

She is a Champion of Equity Honoree for NYC Great, a New York Department of Education program and a Richard D. Parsons Community Impact Award Nominee.
