Learn songwriting techniques by writing narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, relevant descriptive details, and well-structured event sequences to an instrumental. This program is offered all year round.

Learn basic techniques on how to entertain and engage an audience, manage performance anxiety, command a stage and much more. This program is offered all year round.

Learn how to become an entrepreneur by gaining the tools and strategies to start your own business. Children will learn concepts and strategies around passion - building, public speaking, marketing, entrepreneurship, branding, financial literacy, storytelling and much more! We will also teach young entrepreneurs how to make jewelry, t-shirts, soap and much more. The program encourages and teaches generational wealth and how to invest in yourself. Each week we focus on one specific topic and at the end of the program students will get the opportunity to present their brand to our board of directors for a chance to receive a grant to fund their business idea. This is an 8 weeks program.

The purpose of the Music Production & Engineering class is to introduce and foster the study and practice of where the technology and music worlds intersect. This program can serve all of the following: the student with no prior musical experience, the student who already study an instrument in the school system, the student who takes private lessons or the student who has learned about music or an instrument in a less formal fashion. Music Production & Engineering is a project based class that will require independent work and time management skills. This is a 6 month program.

Get inspired and learn more about digital illustration with our classes. Explore online and in person tutorials about a wide variety of topics within digital art, like color theory, custom lettering, and vector illustration. Whether you’re looking for digital drawing and painting classes for beginners, or you’re an illustrator or graphic designer, you’ll find tips to up your game. Learn how to make the most of brushes, layers, and textures, as well as using and mastering tools like Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. Or explore other aspects of digital illustration like lighting, and perspective.

FFEP offers healing therapy using traditional talk therapy, expressive therapies and a spiritual focus to children and teens. We provide tools that they need to move out of pain and into healing while taking their power back. We provide a safe space to excavate and heal old wounds that are still causing pain and move into forgiveness and release. We also focus on prevention and early intervention of child abuse by protecting the rights of children and informing children of their rights.

Peer counseling is aimed at teaching children how to be effective in helping themselves and others with emotional issues. It is a special mentorship program for peers by peers. It includes people going through the same issues in life, looking for guidance from their peers, or looking to learn from others. Facilitated by peer counselors, peer counseling occurs when children share knowledge, experience, emotional support, practical or social help to one another. Through peer counselors, counseling is offered in an atmosphere where anyone can come to share, learn, and help others going through a similar situation.

Learn the basic fundamentals in the art of dance in a safe, fun environment. We offer lessons in Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Jazz. Our classes are beginner friendly and you can take your skills further by exploring new techniques. This is a 6 months program.

In this class, we nurture participants' interest in their creative expression and give them the space to be seen, heard, and express their creative passions. Through activities such as singing, learning choreography, drawing, writing lyrics, and creating stories, participants will have the opportunity to share their unique talents with the group and connect with peers who share similar artistic interests. This class is offered all year round.

Learn what you need to know when writing for television or film. Aspiring filmmakers can learn the basic structure of screenwriting while sharpen their skills and receive feedback that can help them grow their craft. Learn how to write screenplays for feature films, short films, television, commercials, and more. Learn how to create the dialogue, the characters and the storyline of a script. This is a 4 months program.

Learn proven strategies and mental formulas to give talks like a seasoned pro. Boost your confidence and credibility as a Public Speaker. Handle Conflict Better · Refine Relationships · Strengthen Self-Awareness · Communicate Effectively. This a 8 weeks class.

In theatre, children don’t just learn how to act, but gain important life skills that help them grow. Students involved in the arts watch less TV and display more tolerant behavior towards others! Theatre help foster positive achievement, collaborative-working and critical-thinking skills. Studies have shown that theatre classes can not only enhance creativity, but help develop skills that assist in learning languages and even mathematics. Since theatre education is an interdisciplinary art form it satisfies our human need to express thoughts and feelings through written text, dramatic interpretation and multimedia production. This is a 6 months class.

We provide tutors to assist and support students who need assistance in certain subject areas or skills. We also offer homework assistance all year round. This is offered to every student registered in our Excelsior program.
